Tax boycotters’ assets frozen
NZPA-Reuter Bethlehem Israel has frozen assets of Palestinians who are boycotting taxes in the occupied West Bank town of Beit Sahour, an Israeli Arab parliamentarian who visited the town yesterday said.

who refuse to pay taxes” but would not comment further. The boycott is part of a 22-month-old uprising against Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Troops began confiscating household goods, store merchandise and cars on September 20 to force people to pay taxes.
