Rain mars week-end
A depression moving swiftly south put a damper on the plans of Labour Day week-end holidaymakers yesterday, but the forecast was for conditions to improve today. The sudden fluctuations from sun to rain were usual for spring, and winds would abate for the rest of the week. Rain would be confined largely to the western side of the Main Divide, the Weather Service said last evening.
