Injured man improving
The elderly man injured when his car rolled down a steep bank Bkm north of Parnassus on Friday is in a comfortable condition in Christchurch Hospital. Mr Thomas Joseph Forde, aged 60, failed to take a bend on State highway 1, ploughed through a wire fence and rolled down a 12m bank. He suffered abdominal, pelvic and leg injuries.
