Westpac filing
Westpac Banking Corporation said it had filed an Fl registration form for the issue of eight million American depository shares worth SUS2OO million (SNZ337M). The bank said the registration form, for non-cumulative perpetual preference shares, had been lodged with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. The underwriters will have the option to acquire up to 1.2 million additional American depository shares to cover over-allotments. No firm date has been set for the issue.
