SOMERFIELD SCHOOL
By Maia Writer These articles, stories and reviews were written by children of Room 1 as part of our newspaper studies. Some children researched items of interest in our community while others interviewed and wrote about children and teachers in the school.
Mrs Jenner Thompson, the “Junior Press” subeditor, came to school and told us all about publishing a newspaper and then Sarah, Kelly and Natasha went into “The Press” to see what went on. They reported back to us next morning. We are also publishing our own class newspaper using articles and reports like these.
