Council marks end
The end of the Canterbury United Council will be marked by a function on October 4 at the Canterbury Provincial Chambers. Past chairmen, Mr Clutha Mackenzie, Sir Hamish Hay, and the present chairman, Mrs Margaret Murray, will be guest speakers. A tree will be planted on the riverbank near the chambers.
