The boat is sponsored by “The Press.” The photograph was taken by Dougal Holmes, the surf club’s captain, who is studying advanced photography at Wellington Polytechnic. The magazine invited entries from the best students of photographic schools all over the world. Three of the pictures selected are by students of the Wellington course.
