New ‘Help’ on way
A new edition of the “Help” directory is due for publication before Christmas, carrying advertising as well as information. The Christchurch City Council community adviser, Mr Alistair Graham, said advertising and information would be kept separate and an index would be used. The Christchurch City Council and the Canterbury Area Health Board would continue to endorse the volume, which would be paid for by advertising. In the past the directory has been subsidised by the council. “Help” will be delivered to all city households before Christmas.
