Jazz concert
Danielle Wood, a Christchurch pianist, will give a solo performance of well known jazz works at the State Trinity Theatre on September 7 p.m. at 8 p.m. She will play original interpretations and improvisations ations of works by Dizzy Gillespie, George Gershwin, Jimmy Davis, Duke Ellington and Bobby Herb. Wood has a Masters degree in composition and her L.R.S.M. in piano performance. She has given concerts of original jazz piano and song, as well as classical works.
