Skellerup changes structure
Two new sub-groups have been formed within Skellerup Industries from six previously separate divisions to streamline the Group’s over-all operations.
Batavian Rubber Company, Poly-Flor Products (N.Z.), and Skellerup Foam Latex have been formed into Skellerup Flooring and Latex Group, led by general manager, Mr Donald Stewart.
The other new grouping, Skellerup Plastics and Engineering Group, combines Skellerup Engineering, Rotoplas Industries, and Ultraion Product(N.Z.) and is headed by general manager, Mr Bill O’Brien. Mr Stewart will also continue in his role as head of Skellerup Foam Latex and Mr O’Brien as head of Ultraion Products (N.Z.). Mr O’Brien has headed Ultraion since January, 1987, after working with Shell in a variety of marketing roles for nine years.
Among his qualifications are a B.Sc in Chemistry and a Diploma in Business Administration.
Mr Stewart joined Skellerup in January, 1979, working as an accountant for Rotocure, Atlas Rubber Company, and Skellerup Total Services until April, 1985. He then took up the position of accountant for Foam Latex, until being appointed manager of that company in March, 1988.
