Matches cancelled
Because of wet grounds all rugby league from premier reserve and below, included schoolboys, scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled. All Canterbury Football Association soccer from division one down, including the junior competiton, is also off. No decision will be made about the possible cancellation of rugby fixtures until today. However, there is no thought of not playing the curtain-raiser to the Canterbury v. Argentina international at Lancaster Park tomorrow; a New Zealnd women’s XV is playing the Grizzlies from the United States.
