Belly dancer unhappy
The Israeli High court has given the Religious Council of Jerusalem 45 days to prove that a belly dancer in a restaurant prevents food from being kosher. A belly dancer had accused Jewish religious leaders of causing unemployment in her profession. She can no longer perform at weddings because the Religious Council has threatened to withdraw kosher certificates from restaurant owners who employ belly dancers. — NZPA-AFP.
