ELLESMERE COUNTY COUNCIL Ellesmere County Council NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER RAKAIA HUTS WATER SUPPLY LOAN 1989 $60,000 NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of the powers conferred by the Local Government Act, 1974 and Amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and Amendments and any other enabling Act, Regulation or Authority, the Ellesmere County Council at a Special Meeting held on Monday, June 19. 1989 resolved by way of Special Order to borrow the sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) by way of a loan to be known as the Rakaia Huts Water Supply Loan, 1989, $60,000. The object and purport of the proposed loan is for the purpose of financing the installation of a domestic water supply at the Rakaia Huts and within the previously designated area. The term of the loan shall not exceed twenty (20) years and the security for such loan shall be a special rate of 0.002198 cents in the dollar upon the Rateable Capital Value of all property within the Rakaia Huts Water Supply Area. A full copy of the Special Order is deposited for public inspection at the Office of the Ellesmere County Council, High Street, Leeston, and is available to the public during normal office hours until 4.30 p.m., Friday July 14. 1989. It is hereby publicly notified that the poll of electors is required to be taken if 15 per cent of the electors in the Rakaia Huts Water Supply Area so demand in writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the undersigned before 10.30 a.m. on the date fixed for the confirmation of the Resolution.
