GFW to submit bid
NZPA-AAP Sydney Goodman Fielder Wattie Ltd plans to submit the Part A statement on its sAustl.B billion (SNZ2.4 billion) bid for Industrial Equity to the Victorian Corporate Affairs Commission later this week. Mr Greg Russell, corporate affairs manager for GFW, said the details of the offer contained in the document would be no different to the original bid announced by the Australasian food group earlier this month, in spite of speculation about possible changes forced by concerned minority shareholders. The Part A statement, a compulsory outline of information about all aspects of a take-over bid which has to be circulated to all shareholders, is expected to be registered by the commission by mid-July, he said.
