Comforts of home
NZPA-AAP Atlantic City Jeff Harding, the first Australian for 15 years to box overseas for a world title, is being made to feel right at home in the lead-up to Saturday’s bout in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Harding, known as the hitman, takes on Englishman Dennis Andries for his W.B.C. light heavyweight title. Harding will be treated to meat pies, pavlova, and Australian beer at a reception tomorrow, courtesy of the fight promoters.
