The national Hereford sale in Palmerston North this week had a record average price a bull of $7255. The sale contained 23 two-year-old bulls which averaged $6550 and three yearlings at $12,667. The top price and a

record for the national sale was $25,000 paid for a two-year-old bull from Koanui Stud, Havelock North. G.L.C. and E.A. Dunster, of Hawarden, sold bulls at $20,000 and $5OOO, and D. G. Goodall, Southland, received $17,000
