PA Wellington A Wellington man tried to bring four cans of teargas into New Zealand after his pregnant wife was assaulted, the District Court in Wellington was told on Wednesday. Brendan James Downes, aged 28, a seaman, pleaded guilty
Judge Ongley fined him $3OO and $65 court costs.
