Karate titles
The Union of New Zealand Karate Organisation national championships will be contested at the Christ’s College gymnasium this week-end — the first time they have been held in the South Island. About 80 competitors will contest the national tournament having qualified from the regional events.
Une of the stars could be a huge German, Dieter Steinegg, who was a member of his national team for 10 years.
