Rawhiti trio in final
The Rawhiti team of Thora Laurenson, Julie Davidson and Betty Andrews, has qualified as the southern representative for the New Zealand final of the Spalding club teams’ championship. The Rawhiti trio will play off against the northern and central area representatives at Wairakei next month. To reach the New Zealand final, Rawhiti won the district association final with a score of 21-under par for the three-ball best-ball net handicap competition.
