Prince for Liverpool
The Prince of Wales will make a special visit to Liverpool Football Club next week to meet officials and those coping with the aftermath of the Hillsborough tragedy, Buckingham Palace said yesterday. It will be part of a long-planned visit to Merseyside. A decision was taken to send a member of the Royal Family to the memorial service this week-end and the Duke and Duchess of Kent were selected because of the Duke s connection with soccer as president of the Football Association. —London.
