Remand on theft charge
PA Gisborne A man charged in the District Court at Gisborne with theft of $500,000 in cash from his employer, the Social Welfare Department, has been further remanded to May 10. Steven Thomas McKelvey, aged 30, a supervisor, was remanded without plea on bail. • A man, aged 26, charged with the murder of Kristen Elizabeth Price on April 5, was granted continued suppression of name and further remanded to May 10 in the District court at Gisborne yesterday. Judge Thomas also suppressed the reason for the adjournment.
