Driver to defend title
PA Auckland Sep Haider, the Austrian works Opel driver who won last year’s New Zealand international car rally, will return for July’s Rothmans event. Haider will again drive an Opel Kadett GSi in the four-day world championship event which starts and finishes in Auckland. Initially General Motors Eurosport indicated it would only enter one car for Englishman Malcolm Wilson, but has now decided to send a second car for Haider.
