More petrol price rises
Caltex has increased its wholesale petrol price, following Mobil and BP. The wholesale price for super grade increased 1.6 c a litre from midnight on Wednesday. Unleaded 91 octane increased 1.9 c and diesel 0.64 c. Mobil increased its super price 2c before Easter and BP followed soon after with an increase of 1.6 c a litre. The increases result from higher prices for crude oil and the weakening of the New Zealand dollar against the United States dollar.—PA
