Brittain, who arrived back this week at his Newmarket stables, said he was delighted with the four-year-old’s run to finish* second behind Our Poetic Prince. “He might well have
won had the ground been less soft,” Brittain said. “I certainly expected the going to be/ much firmer but having gone all that way we have to run whatever you meet.
