Public Notices WAIMAIRI SCHOOL BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTION OF PARENTS Shortly elections will be held for the Waimalri School Board of Trustees. This Board will be responsible for your child’s school. If you are a parent, guardian or immediate caregiver of a child currently enrolled at this school you may register to vote for the Board of Trustee’s election. To take part, please check these points: VOTING: 1. Make sure your name is on the school’s electoral roll by Thursday, April 6 (12 noon), 1989. This roll is held at the school office and is available to be examined at the school during school hours. 2. If your name is on the roll you will receive voting papers in the mail. A list of candidates will be available at the school and will be posted to you with your voting paper. 3. You may vote in person at the school on April 28, 1989 between 1.00 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. 4. Or you may post your vote earlier as long as it reaches the address below by 12 noon, April 29, 1989. 5. The total number of parent representatives to be elected is five. NOMINATIONS: 1. If you are eligible to vote you may — be nominated and stand for election — nominate someone else — nominate yourself.
