Joke backfires
NZPA-PA Barnsley, England A policeman faces disciplinary action after an inquiry into his behaviour during a church service. A member of the V.I.P. congregation at Holy Rood Catholic Church,
Barnsley, protested that there was giggling and jokes among police ranks, a constable broke wind, and a policeman’s helmet clattered noisily to the floor.
A police spokesman confirmed an inquiry was being held.
