Youth Clubs
The Y.M.C.A.’s Y Youth Clubs are starting off 1989 with a burst of new energy, offering everything from outdoor exploration activities to life skills.
For eight to 10-year-olds there is the Junior Y Club, which has an emphasis on social and environmental awareness in activities where children can meet friends and have fun. It aims to give an introduction to the Y.M.C.A. and its activities. Term one activities include visits to the Christchurch Cathedral, the Epicenter, exploring the seashore and the park, and gaining a “Y” fitness certificate.
The Pathfinders Club is for 11 to 14-year-olds. It offers fun recreational
