The Company wishes to appoint a suitable person to manage this important operation following the promotion of the encumbant. The Company’s products, which are marketed under the SX and Sunshine brand names, enjoy a high market profile and are manufactured in centrally located premises in Christchurch. Reporting to the Divisional General Manager, who is based in Christchurch, the successful applicant will manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the bakery’s operations including production, sales and marketing, quality assurance, purchasing and distribution. Divisional support exists in the marketing and financial areas to help achieve budgeted objectives. The person we are seeking should be in the 30-40 age bracket and ideally able to demonstrate proven management skills. Desired attributes are a marketing orientation, team leadership, communication, strategic thinking and problem solving skills, gained at senior level, combined with sound commercial skills.
