Shamrock beaten
Technical scored two second-half goals to beat Shamrock, 2-0, in the Rangers pre-season soccer tournament at Rangers Park last evening. Stuart Jones and Andrew Eastgate were the goal scorers for Technical with Shamrock’s Simon Muir being named player of the match. The late game ended in a 1-1 ■fpiraw between Western
and Woolston. Woolston scored an early goal through Neil Lilley in the fourth minute but Wayne Higgs equalised for Western in the twenty-third minute. The player of the match was Alun Evans (Woolston). In Sunday’s matches Woolston will play Burndale and Christchurch United will meet Rangers. jij
