Group Lotto soon
PA Wellington A new way for groups to play Lotto — Lotto Combo — will be launched by the Lotteries Commission in May, said the commission’s chief executive, Mr David Bale, yesterday. Lotto Combo will allow players to choose eight, nine or 10 numbers on one coupon and have every possible combination of these numbers as an automatic entry. Mr Bale said Lotto Combo was to be be targeted at group players. "There are over 100,000 people in workplaces and social groups who play Lotto each week and our research has shown that they are looking for an easier way of playing.” He said introduction of Lotto Combo was designed to make group play more convenient and to develop a so ci 31 3Spect. "Combo Eight will give groups 28 different combinations of numbers for a $l4 entry cost; Combo Nine will give them 84 combinations for $42; and Combo 10 will allow them to play 210 combinations at a cost of $105.”
