Fletcher’s options
Trading in Fletcher Challenge share options will begin in Australia on March 6. The company’s ordinary shares were listed there in 1985. Mr Geoff Whitcher, Fletcher Challenge’s equity management director, said that the listing as an exchange-traded option stock reflected "the excellent market support for Fletcher Challenge since 1985. Share trading volumes and interest in the company have led to Fletcher Challenge becoming the first company incorporated outside Australia to be listed for exchange-traded options on the Australian Stock Exchange.”
