Festal’s flight delayed

The Woodville galloper, Festal, will miss tomorrow’s Lightning at Flemington. Festal’s flight was delayed and because of the hitch in travel arrangements it has been decided to bypass the first of the three rich sprints for which he has been set. Festal’s trainer, Bruce Marsh, said yesterday that his horse would run in the Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield on Saturday week. Harry White was booked to ride him this week, but is not yet confirmed for the Oakleigh.
