Hands-on Role • Includes Vehicle On behalf of our client, a medium sized local manufacturing company, we are seeking the services of an experienced engineer to lead a small team of tradesmen. The position requires a practical, thinking, hands-on supervisor who will be responsible for the continued running and maintenance of the operating plant. This is carried out through engineering staff and outside contractors. The position reports to the Factory Manager. Applicants should preferably have a mechanical background and be trade or NZCE qualified. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage, but not essential. Good communication skills are important as the engineers are required to liaise regularly with production staff. Remuneration is by way of salary, which is negotiable, and includes use of a vehicle.
