NZPA-AAP Sydney Stronger futures contracts and better commodity prices encouraged limited trading by institutions, on the Australian sharemarket yesterday in spite of the high Australian dollar and interest-rate concerns. The all-ordinaries index was up 11.2 points at 1512.5 its high for the day by the floor trading. The gold marker jumped 27.1 to 1441.1 after bullion prices strengthened SUS 3 an ounce overnight.
