U-Bix challenges
The North Canterbury senior cricket team will face two important assignments in the U-Bix Cup elimination series in the next two week-ends. . The first match will be against the West Coast, in Hokitika, this week-end, and then the team will play another away match against Nelson on February 11 and 12. Last season North Canterbury gained the first win over Nelson in its North Canterbury team will play in both matches. It is;— Bob Masefield (captain), Mike Johnston, John Masefield, Paul Winter, Brian Plaskett, Mike Satterthwaite, Mark Patterson, John Hamilton, Chris Abbott, Gary Chamberlain, Steve McNally, Michael Sharpe.
