NZPA-AAP Melbourne Australia comfortably retained its women’s World Cup cricket champion title by beating England by eight wickets in a one-sided final at the M.C.G. yesterday. Chasing England’s meagre total of 127 for seven in 60 overs, Australia recovered from a shaky start to finish on 129 for two oft 44.5 overs.
