Jenner bounces back
PA Hamilton The veteran trotter, Jenner, bounced back to winning form with a clear-cut victory in the Crater Lake Trot at Claudelands on Tuesday evening. The 11-year-old gelding
was given the perfect trip by catch driver, John Langdon, and he edged past Joe at the top of the straight to record his first win for the season. Jenner raced a shade disappointingly at Addington earlier in the month,
and was excluded from the prestigious Dominion Handicap field. A winner every year since his two-year-old season, Jenner caught punters on the hop on Tuesday, returning odds of 16-1.
