Distributor change
Gough, Gough and Hamer will distribute and service Rowe Transmix concrete mixers in the South Island. The agreement is with Rheem, N.Z., Ltd. Most of the Rowe concrete truck business is being transferred to Auckland. The agreement which will take effect on December 1, involves the transfer of marketing, sales, and service activities previously managed by Rowe Engineering. Mr Paul Wheeler, South Island branch manager of Gough, Gough and Hamer, said Gough’s, which have been increasing in activities in transport servicing and general engineering, saw the move as a logical extension of business and had appointed Mr Bill Cannell, previously manager of Rowe Engineering, to head up the section.
