Kick boxer prepared
A Christchurch kick boxer, Mark Browne, has his sights set on a first national title when he shapes up to the present title-holder, Murray Millgrew (Tauranga), in a welterweight bout at the New Brighton Soccer Club’s headquarters on Saturday. Browne’s confidence will have been boosted by his success against Millgrew when the pair fought for the South Island title last December. The New Zealand welterweight title will not be the only national crown determined. The bantamweight championship will be decided along with the South Island lightweight title. © Inside sport: Pages 42-44
