A further Field Officer is to be appointed to cover the Baj’ of Plenty and Gisborne area, with this Field Officer residing in the Taurunga area. These officers will act as professional liaison between the New Zealand Association and the Associations and clubs in the districts concerned. It is envisaged that the appointees will be highly experienced in all aspects of lifeguarding activity and will be able to demonstrate evidence of ability to instruct others.
