The New Zealanders will play two warm-up games against Victoria at Jells Park tomorrow and Friday before the four-test series starts in Albury on Saturday. The New Zealand side features a number of outstanding players under the direction of the world series coach, Ed Dolejs, including world series representatives Nardi Clark and Rhonda Hira. Australia will be relying upon local stars in the test
series with the pitching duties to be shared by Victorian stars Jenny Lisle, Leanne Evans and Karen McCracken. Australia will be coached by Margaret Reynolds who has been appointed head coach for the 1990 World Series. As New Zealand has finished ahead of the Australians at the last two World Championships, the series will be keenly contested with world rankings at stake.
