Tyson may seek postponement
NZPA-AFP Cleveland, California Mike Tyson, facing divorce after a marriage lasting only eight months, could seek another postponement to his world title defence against Frank Bruno. A bitter Tyson says he will never make it up with his actress wife Robin Givens, who has filed for divorce against the world heavyweight champion. Tyson said he intended pushing his marital problems out of the limelight and concentrate on his boxing career. But he admitted he would not be starting training immediately for the Bruno
clash, currently scheduled for London on December 17, because he is busy with the divorce. A decision on the bout, already postponed four times, is expected next week after Tyson has met his lawyer. The 22-year-old, speaking as he arrived here on his way to seeing promoter Don King, said of his impending divorce: “Sometimes you have to go beyond love ... It’s not how much you love someone, it’s how much they love you. And I wasn’t receiving the amount of love I was giving.”
