Couple jailed on sex counts
PA Auckland A Papatoetoe couple jailed for joint sex offences on neighbourhood children, clung to each other as they left the High Court at Auckland yesterday. The judge jailed the man, aged 28, indefinitely, describing him as being pathologically attracted to children. His wife, aged 24, was
jailed for four years. A psychiatrist said she had been anxious to please her husband. The couple jointly admitted two charges of rape and eight charges of sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection. The man admitted one further charge of rape and seven more sexual violations by unlawful sexual connection.
