Mother kills own babies
NZPA-AP Limoges A French child-care worker, aged 25, has been charged with infanticide after admitting she placed four babies she bore in plastic sacks and threw them in the garbage. Sylvie Coulon, charged by an Investigating Magistrate, Isabelle Parmentier, explained her actions by saying she was “aione and broke,” the police said. She said she gave birth alone in 1984 and again in the autumn of 1985, in the winter of 1986 and early in 1988. She explained her weight changes to colleagues and neighbours by simply saying she was eating too much.
