NZPA-Reuter i Y ? rk Kirk Gibson’s twelfth-inning home run lifted the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 5-4 victory over the New York Mets yesterday to tie the National League Championship Series at two games apiece Gibson who had one hit in 16 at bats m the series before his homer off the New York reliever, Roger McDowell, powered his blast 125 metres over the rightfield fence. , , The fifth game is scheduled for today. The best-of-seven games series will then move to Los Angeles. The winner will meet Oakland Athletics in the World Series. Oakland beat the Boston Red Sox in their series in a record four consecutive games.
