Delivery time
Sir, —Recent correspondence has complained about the slow arrival of some letters through N.Z. Post. We are told that business people do use courier services because they are better. But how is this? I needed a certain small packet by Friday, September 23, at the latest. In Wellington it was handed to a courier firm, late on Monday afternoon, September 19. It waited in Christchurch for three days. At my insistence, and after pressure from the Christchurch firm who engaged the courier, I finally received it at the Christchurch firm’s office at 4 p.m. on Friday.
