Venturers flown out
PA Masterton Six venturer scouts reported overdue in the Haurangi Ranges on Sunday night were flown out by helicopter yesterday afternoon after having been found well off their intended course. All were fit and well but hungry, having run out of food yesterday. Mr Selwyn Pawson of Search and Rescue said the venturers took a wrong turning at a branch of a creek and became lost.
