Rubbish trip to Square
School children are making a special trip to the Square on Thursday at midday to dump rubbish. To mark Keep New Zealand Beautiful Week, beginning on October 1, members of the Keep Christchurch Beautiful Campaign are organising a school-to-Square cleanup. The march begins from either Moorhouse Avenue or Rolleston Avenue, Peterborough Street or Latimer Square. The marchers should reach the Square by 12.20 p.m. where they will be met by the Mayor of Christchurch, Sir Hamish Hay.
