Railways wins ale contract
The Railways Corporation has won an important contract to transport beer from Dominion Breweries’ factory at Washdyke throughout the South Island.
The brewery recently completed work on a large storehouse at its Washdyke site which has become the base for its South Island distribution system. The $3 million storehouse covers 2800 square metres and can store up to 700 pallets of beer.
