Agassi win
NZPA-Reuter Los Angeles The United States number one and top seed, Andre Agassi, defeated fellow American John McEnroe, in three sets yesterday to reach the final of the $U5415,000 ($676,450) Los Angeles Grand Prix tennis tournament. Agassi, aged 18, ranked fourth in the world, beat the third-seeded McEnroe, ranked twenty-fourth and approaching his thirtieth birthday, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4.
